Sharing:
神不需用人為祂建壇,上若神賜我們建堂,神  便是我們的down payment ,also our provider。 要踏出 our comfort zone。

Deuteronomy 7:18-19
But do not be afraid of them; remember well what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt. You saw with your own eyes the great trials, the signs and wonders, the mighty hand and outstretched arm, with which the LORD your God brought you out. The LORD your God will do the same to all the peoples you now fear.

Sharing:  "Do not be afraid" is a promise that God gave to His people, which His people needed to receive by faith. Yet, God reminded His people that if they could remember well what He had done with the great trials, the signs and wonders, the mighty hand and outstretched arm, their faith would be strengthened. This is the same to us that we should remember well what God had done in our life so that we can firmly trust in God while facing the things we fear.

Luke 7
41 Then Jesus told him this story: “A man loaned money to two people—500 pieces of silver to one and 50 pieces to the other.
42 But neither of them could repay him, so he kindly forgave them both, canceling their debts. Who do you suppose loved him more after that?”

43 Simon answered, “I suppose the one for whom he canceled the larger debt.”  “That’s right,” Jesus said.
Sharing:  Look around, have you noticed those brothers and sisters who love God deeply,  have you found out that they always self proclaimed how much God had forgiven their big debt.  For those who love God lukewarm, do you think they had less debt or they just did not see their big debt.    I can tell you that I can see my debts are accumulating higher and higher debt for what I owe the Lord my God, but to my surprise I realize that I love Him more and more.  Thank you for forgiving all my sins, my dear savior, Jesus Christ.  You are the only reason for my confidence to walk your path.   Thank you, Lord.
Deuteronomy 7
9 Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.
10 But he does not hesitate to punish and destroy those who reject him.
11 Therefore, you must obey all these commands, decrees, and regulations I am giving you today.
Deuteronomy 8
1 “Be careful to obey all the commands I am giving you today. Then you will live and multiply, and you will enter and occupy the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors.

2 Remember how the Lord your God led you through the wilderness for these forty years, humbling you and testing you to prove your character, and to find out whether or not you would obey his commands

21 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened 22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

Most of us familiar with the manifestation of the Trinity through these verses, however, I am not sure if you notice that there is a communication channel was opened first – that is “praying”. Jesus gave us an example that the praying channel is a “hot line” that needs to be established between our God and us first in order to learn His will and receive blessings.

Luke 2:

36 Anna, a prophet, was also there in the Temple. She was the daughter of Phanuel from the tribe of Asher, and she was very old. Her husband died when they had been married only seven years.
37 Then she lived as a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the Temple but stayed there day and night, worshiping God with fasting and prayer.
38 She came along just as Simeon was talking with Mary and Joseph, and she began praising God. She talked about the child to everyone who had been waiting expectantly for God to rescue Jerusalem.

The righteous man is rescued from trouble, and it comes on the wicked instead.

(Christian does not have to claim that our present world is the best of all possible worlds, but it is the best way to the best possible world).”

15 On the day the Tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered it. But from evening until morning the cloud over the Tabernacle looked like a pillar of fire.
22 Whether the cloud stayed above the Tabernacle for two days, a month, or a year, the people of Israel stayed in camp and did not move on. But as soon as it lifted, they broke camp and moved on.
23 So they camped or traveled at the LORD’s command, and they did whatever the LORD told them through Moses.

Psalm 50
14 Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God, and keep the vows you made to the Most High.
15 Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.”
22 Repent, all of you who forget me, or I will tear you apart, and no one will help you.
23 But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path,  I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”
